About this book

Set in the near future, Making Ends Meet is a dark, gritty sci-fi thriller spanning Earth and Mars. It throws you right into the action as colonists and tradesmen battle unexplained mechanical failures, strange creatures, interplanetary espionage and their own internal demons. Among the futuristic tech and scientific advancements, it explores deeper concepts of the human condition: pain and suffering, loss and loneliness, fear, anxiety and depression. It traverses a world built by science, yet asks, is faith so unreasonable? Faith and reason both fall victim to misconceptions, leading to the belief that the two are irreconcilable. In reality, they compliment; seeking to answer different questions. How did we come to exist, is different from why did we come to exist. This story doesn't make Thomastic style arguments, nor a dissertation on physical sciences and theology. Rather, each are intertwined within true to life events. Our age is fraught with fears of survival... of making ends meet. But it's in our God given nature to use our intellect, skills and abilities to conquer the challenges of our time.
