A little about me

My reading life

I’m a nurse, mum of three and passionate book lover. I’ve been reviewing books for a couple of years and have recently expanded into social media to share my reviews with a wider audience and connect with fellow book lovers. I enjoy a range of genres, particularly romantasy, fantasy, romance and psychological thrillers. I’m also an avid audiobook listener who loves discovering new authors and sharing my reading experiences. My preference is audiobooks. I am most likely to review a book if it is in audio format. However, if I feel drawn to a physical book, I’d definitely read it. How I review

I enjoy sharing honest, thoughtful reviews that highlight what I loved about a book and help readers discover their next great read while supporting authors. Reading is a hobby alongside work and family life, so I read at my own pace and never rush a book to meet a deadline. I believe every book deserves the time and attention needed for a fair review. I aim to provide balanced, constructive and respectful feedback while always being genuine about my reading experience.

Subjects I’m drawn to

I enjoy immersive worlds, compelling characters, romantic tension and high-spice romance. I love thought-provoking stories, and clever twists. I’m an audiobook enthusiast, but open to exploring new genres.

Book Tree reviewer guidelines · independence comes first

Book Tree is built around passionate readers and encourages honest, voluntary reviews without a fee. Receiving a complimentary book is different from being paid to review it; disclose either arrangement.

  • Give your own honest opinion based on your actual reading. Never offer guaranteed praise, star ratings, sales, rankings or publication.
  • Never sell positive reviews, require a favourable opinion, or charge an author to remove or change an honest critical review.
  • If you charge, describe the fee and currency, what the author receives, delivery times and cancellation/refund terms before any agreement. Keep free options clearly separate from paid editorial services.
  • Disclose payment, free copies, gifts and personal or business connections clearly on each affected review. A profile badge alone is not enough. Paid work must be labelled as paid editorial review, never passed off as an unpaid customer review.
  • Follow the publication platform’s rules. Do not offer paid Amazon customer reviews or post compensated reviews where a retailer prohibits them. A free copy must never require a review or a particular opinion.
  • Respect authors and readers. Do not pressure, harass, impersonate, fabricate reading experience or copy someone else’s review. Respect confidentiality and copyright.
